Ross Distribution Center
I was contacted to weld large "X" Frames on the new Ross Distribution Center located in Bakersfield CA. The facility has a 1.7 million square foot foot print, with a 400,000 square foot mezzanine structure inside. Firewire Welding and Fabrication was able to come in and put the project back on track after another welding company was plagued with failures. It took 2 months, but we successfully completed (400) 1/2" thick by 20" long CJP welds, (50) 1-1/4" thick by 38" long double bevel gusset plates, and (200) 1" x 28" PJP welds. All in all that works out to be approximately a 1/2" thick weld by 3/8 of a mile long.
